  • The Home Front: Getting Comfy in the Kitchen

Vancouver Sun (Print/Online) journalist Rebecca Keillor published her story following her recent interview with Chef Chuck Hughes as part of the Continuous Kitchen program.

She speaks of his partnership with LG and mentions that appliances are key – for example, LG’s InstaView fridge, which “can help cooks spot things before they go bad” in order to reduce food waste. The article states, “Shopping with a plan and using everything in your fridge is key to reducing waste, Hughes says, noting that appliances like LG’s InstaView fridge — it has a see-through front panel so people can see what they have in their fridges and avoid “hiding stuff behind stuff” — can help cooks spot things before they go bad.”
